5 Reasons Your Dog Needs an AirTag Holder (Not Just an AirTag)

So you've bought an Apple AirTag to keep track of your dog — great move. But an AirTag on its own has no way to attach to a collar, and a loose or poorly protected AirTag can fall off or take a beating. Here are 5 reasons your dog needs a proper AirTag holder.

1. AirTags aren't designed to attach to collars

The disc-shaped AirTag has no built-in attachment point. It needs a holder or accessory to stay on your dog. Improvised solutions like a key ring can dangle, snag and come loose.

An AirTag can show where your dog was last detected by nearby Apple devices. It isn't live GPS, but it gives you somewhere to start. That only helps if the AirTag is still on the collar when your dog goes missing.
